Volvo sales up 265.3 percent in March

Volvo sales jumped by 265.3 percent in March 2021 versus March 2020, an incredible result that proves that Volvo vehicles continue to hold their value in the eyes of consumers, even it what has been a very difficult past 12 months.

Volvo certified pre-owned vehicle sales also more than doubled, increasing by 126.3 percent year-over-year.

So far for the first three months of 2021, Volvo has registered increases of 50 percent and 42 percent in New Car sales and Certified pre-owned sales with 2,099 and 834 models sold respectively.

“With our best Certified by Volvo sales on record, March represented a strong close to the first quarter for Volvo Cars in Canada,” said Matt Girgis, managing director of Volvo Car Canada Ltd. “Despite challenging market conditions, the outstanding performance of our pre-owned channels is encouraging and signals strong demand and continued year-over-year growth for our retail channels as we start the second quarter.”
